"Milwaukee's Fielder suspended": This afternoon, Major League Baseball issued a press release that begins, "Prince Fielder of the Milwaukee Brewers has been suspended for three games and fined an undisclosed amount for his inappropriate and aggressive conduct during the top of the eighth inning of his Club's game against the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park on Sunday, Aug. 12."

MLB.com reports that "Fielder suspended three games; NL home run leader penalized for arguing with umpire."

My earlier coverage of the incident leading to this suspension can be accessed here.
