Major League Baseball games played Tuesday, July 31, 2007: A full slate of 15 games played Tuesday produced a total of two ejections.

In the Bronx, where the New York Yankees hosted the Chicago White Sox, home plate umpire Phil Cuzzi ejected White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen in the bottom of the 1st inning and White Sox first baseman Paul Konerko in the top of the 6th inning, both for arguing balls and strikes. The Yankees won the game by a score of 16-3. You can access the box score at this link, while wraps from MLB.com are available here and here. Additional coverage is available from The Chicago Tribune; The New York Times; The New York Daily News; The New York Post; and The Associated Press. Credit home plate umpire Phil Cuzzi with two ejections -- giving him a total of seven on the season -- and adjust your Umpire Fantasy League standings accordingly.
