Major League Baseball games played Wednesday, August 8, 2007: A complete slate of 15 games played Wednesday produced a single ejection.

In Toronto, where the Blue Jays hosted the New York Yankees, home plate umpire Derryl Cousins ejected Yankees right fielder Bobby Abreu in the top of the 4th inning for arguing a called strike three. The Yankees, who were trailing by a score of 8-2 at the time of the ejection, ended up losing by a score of 15-4.
