Major League Baseball games played Saturday, July 28, 2007: A full slate of 15 games plus two doubleheaders in the National League produced a total of 17 games played Saturday, and those games resulted in two ejections.

In the first game of a doubleheader between the Milwaukee Brewers at the St. Louis Cardinals, third base umpire Greg Gibson ejected Cardinals manager Tony La Russa for arguing a called strike on a checked swing in the bottom of the 6th inning. In St. Petersburg, Florida, where the Tampa Bay Devil Rays hosted the Boston Red Sox, home plate umpire Mark Wegner ejected Devil Rays manager Joe Maddon for arguing a checked swing that Wegner ruled was not a strike in the top of the 11th inning.
