Ejection in San Diego! In this afternoon's game featuring the Atlanta Braves at the San Diego Padres, the strike zone of home plate umpire Ed Hickox was apparently not to the liking of Padres starting pitcher David Wells.

After Wells walked Andruw Jones to lead off the top of the 4th inning and then surrendered a home run to the very next batter, Jeff Francoeur, Wells had words for Hickox. And Hickox had the heave-ho for Wells, who had thrown just 44 pitches to that point in 3-plus innings of work. The home run gave the Braves a 3-1 lead, but the Padres ended up winning by a score of 8-5.

Credit home plate umpire Ed Hickox with one ejection and adjust your Umpire Fantasy League standings accordingly.
